After an 8 and a half hour train ride, I made it back to Newcastle last night.
I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to scaryshari, lapie and jadedhazeleyes for the christmas cards I had to stomp on to get through my front door, and also special love goes out to letze_ausfahrt and flying_for_him for the electronically delivered messages XD

I'm priveliged to know you beautiful people and honoured by your friendship. The tiniest things can make the biggest difference, and your words touched my heart and made me happy.

To all of you reading this who have given me support, or help, or smiles, no matter how long I have known you and no matter how many miles away you are... I thank you too

I know I already said this in bday_packages, but I'll say it again -- you are very welcome for the confetti-filled card! *giggle* I love sending cards to people during the holidays, not only because I love to be "festive", but because I share your belief that even tiny things can make a big difference in other people's lives. You never know whose day you might brighten when you do something. :)

That's one of the reasons I like working in retail, because I get to interact with customers all day and sometimes I can actually FEEL how I've changed their mood, even if it's only a little, just from having a short interaction. Anyhoo, I hope you have a happy and healthy 2007 filled with many good things! :) I'm glad to have gotten to know you (albeit in the "virtual" sense) thanks to the bday_packages community. You are a very thoughtful and kind person.
